SBC Waste Solutions COVID-19 Update, SBC cares about the safety of our employees and customers. We are vigilantly following updates about COVID-19. As circumstances have been changing rapidly, we have been keeping track of all updates made by the Center for Disease Control, the Occupational Safety and Health Administration, and the World Health Organization. Our goal is to maintain a clean and safe work environment so we can continue to provide the communities of Chicagoland with the collection services they need.
As an essential service, SBC Waste Solutions will still keep our regular pickup schedule for both trash collection and recycling and give regular COVID-19 Update if needed. It is hard to predict how the Coronavirus will affect communities, so during this time we may experience service delays. However, we are committed to maintaining a high-quality service because we know families and businesses depend on us to keep their living and work spaces sanitary.
In the meantime, we are adhering to guidelines established by health organizations. We are practicing social distancing and increasing the frequency in which we clean and sanitize equipment and facilities. We are also making sure sick employees stay home and practicing the highest standard of hygiene. It is our duty to provide the communities we serve with waste management and to keep our staff and clients safe by limiting potential exposure to the Coronavirus.
