Customer Service Career Opportunities at SBC Waste Solutions

The primary responsibility of a Customer Service Associate is to receive and respond to inbound calls, inquiries, service requests, and complaints at the call center. The associate may need to research, investigate, and collaborate with the operations team to resolve these issues. The associate is also responsible for delivering prompt, respectful, and courteous customer service to ensure that all customer concerns are resolved and that they have an elite customer service experience. The associate should have good knowledge, skills, and abilities to perform these duties.

CDL Driver Career Opportunities at SBC Waste Solutions

We are currently hiring CDL Drivers to work out of our Broadview Location. You will start and end every day at the Broadview yard in this position. You will be driving a Roll Off, Rear Load, or Front Loader truck, picking up waste bins, and transporting them to various transfer stations within 25 miles outside of Broadview. Our automatic-speed manual trucks require at least two years of CDL driving experience with this type of service.

Job Description

The Customer Service Associate receives and responds primarily to Call Center inbound calls, inquiries,
service requests and complaints, which may require research, investigation, and collaboration with operations
team to reach resolution; also delivers superior customer service in a prompt, respectful and courteous manner
to ensure that customer concerns are resolved and that they received an elite customer service experience.

Principal Responsibilities

  • Effectively and primarily respond to Residential, Commercial and Roll-Off inbound calls,
    regarding any inquiries related to new and existing service, create and print work-orders, billing,
    missed pick-up’s, cancellation requests, service changes, retention, extra pick-up’s, pricing
    disputes, contractual stipulations, outbound/inbound collection-calls, service issues and
    concerns. Ensures all calls are resolved and treated in a respectful, timely and professional
    manner.
  • Data Entry of new Customer Service Agreements, including service changes and other assigned
    tasks in accordance with Company policy.
  • Assist Sales Reps with account information inquiries and printing.
  • Attend company related community events and represent SBC Waste Solutions with respect and
    professionalism at all times.
  • Return all internal and external calls, emails and voicemails in a timely manner to ensure that
    customers’ concerns are understood, addressed and resolved efficiently.
  • Logs information about customer service interactions into accounts/systems; updates important.
    information in a timely in order for associates to able to track service inquiries and resolution.
  • Performs other job-related duties as assigned or apparent.
